Envoy Mobile builds 10x faster with EngFlow

The customer, Envoy Mobile, an open-source project for mobile networking libraries, faced challenges with slow and heterogeneous builds and tests that targeted multiple operating systems and programming languages. To address this, they partnered with the vendor EngFlow to utilize EngFlow Remote Execution.

EngFlow migrated Envoy Mobile's presubmit flows to remote execution, achieving builds and tests that were up to 10x faster. The overall execution time was reduced from 2 hours to 20 minutes, a 6x speed-up that significantly accelerated the turnaround time for open-source contributions. EngFlow also provided its Build and Test UI for better insight into results.
