Ted’s Cameras - Customer Case Study

Ted’s Cameras, a retailer founded in 1970 with a network of 20 stores, faced a shifting market as smartphone cameras reduced casual demand for dedicated cameras. To stay relevant and re‑energise its retail experience for passionate photographers, Ted’s engaged Engagis to supply the digital signage and interactive displays needed to create a more involving, modern store environment.

Working with Red Design Group, Ted’s opened the 800 sqm Ted’s World of Imaging in Pitt St, Sydney (launched October 2018), featuring brand partner zones with experts, an education centre with seating and two video walls, a rotating exhibition space, bookable studio and professional print facilities. Engagis provided all digital signage for the store, helping deliver an immersive, educational retail destination that engages customers, supports lifelong relationships and generates referrals while rejuvenating Ted’s retail proposition.
