A Engage2Excel Case Study

Preview of the ConnectiCare Case Study

ConnectiCare employee recognition programs help translate cultural values into competitive advantage

ConnectiCare, a leading Connecticut health plan with just over 600 employees, needed to maintain strong member and employee loyalty while competing against much larger national insurers. To modernize and scale its recognition efforts, ConnectiCare moved from paper-based recognition to Engage2Excel’s cloud-based Recognition Connection platform to reinforce its cultural values and motivate staff.

Using Engage2Excel’s Recognition Connection to run eCards, the K'UDO Award, Mad (Make a Difference) Award and High Five programs—alongside a "Culture of Appreciation" manager training—ConnectiCare made recognition part of daily practice. The result, enabled by Engage2Excel, was a measurable shift in culture: more than 125 managers completed the training, recognition became systematic across the 600+ employee organization, and the strengthened culture helped translate values into a clear competitive advantage.
