The RACER Trust - Customer Case Study

The RACER Trust, established to manage environmental cleanup and redevelopment of 89 former GM properties across 14 states, needed tight planning, budgeting and expenditure control for a fixed fund while coordinating a large, distributed portfolio and many stakeholders. To meet these challenges The RACER Trust selected ENFOS and deployed ENFOS core functionality, including the ENFOS Financial solution and ENFOS Document Management solution, as a web-based central information system.

ENFOS implemented lifecycle forecasting and planning, vendor proposal management, purchase-to-pay (POs, invoices, expenditures), dashboards/reporting, and centralized document management integrated with RACER’s general ledger. Since go‑live in November 2011 ENFOS has automated non‑value‑add processes, improved workflow efficiency, strengthened internal controls, enabled strategic budgeting and public information sharing, and produced measurable cost savings in administrative and environmental expenditures.
