ConocoPhillips, a global energy company with more than 30,000 employees and operations across thousands of sites, needed to streamline and cut the cost of its environmental remediation program and enable faster, more accurate decision-making across more than 33,000 North American sites. To meet these challenges it engaged ENFOS and implemented the ENFOS Environmental Business Management Solution, including its Procure to Pay capabilities and planned GIS/EDR data integration.

ENFOS delivered a web-based Procure to Pay platform that lets contractors submit proposals and ConocoPhillips approve work authorizations, purchase orders, and change orders, with a real-time interface to SAP and configured Work Breakdown Structure elements. By reducing manual data entry and automating approvals, ENFOS gave ConocoPhillips immediate reserve balances and performance visibility, cut supply chain and transaction costs, and permanently lowered the cost structure for managing environmental liabilities—saving the company significant time and money across its remediation portfolio.
