Prioritizing Investments, Harvard Property Management Slashes Energy Consumption with Utility Dashboard

Harvard Property Management, which oversees more than 100 properties across Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, struggled with time-consuming manual bill collection and spreadsheet reporting and lacked broad visibility into building energy performance. Since 2013 they have worked with EnergyPrint, using its Utility Dashboard and validated utility data to centralize consumption records and benchmark buildings.

EnergyPrint’s solution automated data validation and reporting (including monthly Insights), enabling Harvard to cut reporting time from roughly a month to about an hour, save hundreds of staff hours overall, and prioritize efficiency projects. As a result Harvard reduced energy use by nearly 100 million kBtus (equivalent to about 3.5 tons of coal), achieved >30% savings at an underperforming building, improved budget forecasting, and increased client engagement through actionable EnergyPrint reporting.
