Case Study: Building Technology Systems achieves $1.8M in new revenue with EnergyPrint

A EnergyPrint Case Study

Preview of the Building Technology Systems Case Study

Denver Contractor Adds $1.8 Million in Revenue Leveraging EnergyPrint

Building Technology Systems (BTS), a Denver commercial HVAC contractor known for mechanical expertise, wanted to leverage energy benchmarking and utility-data reporting as a competitive differentiator but didn’t have the bandwidth to build those capabilities in-house. They partnered with EnergyPrint to manage the gathering and visualization of utility data and to deliver ongoing energy benchmarking and monthly data insights.

EnergyPrint supplied current utility data, dashboards and a custom-branded “BTS Energy Report” that BTS uses to benchmark buildings, monitor spikes, prove M&V results and open conversations with clients. Using EnergyPrint’s services, BTS added $1.8 million in new projects in under two years, saved clients more than $785k across tracked buildings, demonstrated $300k in cost avoidance on a SMART chiller in 15 months, expanded client portfolios and launched a new office division.
