Centra Campile, a 255 m2 convenience store in New Ross and part of Ireland’s Centra chain, faced rising energy costs and needed an accurate before-and-after assessment to support an August 2013 energy-efficiency revamp. EnergyCAP provided an energy management and electricity monitoring solution (online dashboard and tailored WISE/Wastage reports) to identify major electricity consumers and establish a baseline for planned upgrades.

EnergyCAP’s monitoring enabled targeted measures—new AHT freezer units, EC fans, LED canopy lights, Weir glass, deep equipment cleaning, and replacement of lighting fittings—and allowed cost- and appliance-level tracking of results. Using EnergyCAP’s dashboard, Centra Campile reduced lighting use by up to 40%, refrigeration energy by nearly 50% (from €38.32 to €19.34 daily), and saw an overall ~25% drop following the upgrades, delivering clear reductions in electrical wastage and improved energy efficiency.
