Sensorea optimises energy & water costs at The Hotel Brussels using Energis.Cloud

Sensorea faced the challenge of balancing occupant comfort with reducing water and energy waste at The Hotel Brussels, aiming for concrete targets (e.g., −20% water, −35% electricity, −25% gas, −20% CO2 and ROI within five years). To meet this challenge Sensorea installed Energis.Cloud from Energis SA in 2018 to enable remote, continuous monitoring of meters, submeters, HVAC equipment and environmental sensors.

Energis SA’s Energis.Cloud provided real‑time monitoring, behavioral consumption models, automated alerts and expert interpretation, allowing Sensorea to detect anomalies and act quickly (reactivity improved from days to about 15 minutes). The system enabled a detected water leak to be fixed in 2 days during lockdown (vs. 1–2 weeks without monitoring), delivered about 5% energy savings per year, and supports progress toward a PEB B rating and the customer’s stated resource‑reduction targets.
