Case Study: EPS engineering achieves 11% energy savings and €1.5k/month avoided peak penalties with Energis SA's Energis.Cloud

Paperdì optimises the performance of its paper production plant

EPS engineering needed to monitor and improve energy management across several paper production lines to obtain the “energivori” qualification, identify inefficiencies, and evaluate production costs. To meet these challenges they partnered with Energis SA, using Energis.Cloud services and a RaspICY Data Logger to collect and centralise real-time energy, power and operating-hours data from the plant.

Energis SA implemented an automated monitoring solution (33 meters feeding one RaspICY Datalogger into Energis.Cloud), defined custom KPIs, created dashboards and alerts, and centralized documents for easy access. As a result EPS achieved 11% energy savings since 2019, avoided about 1.5k€/month in power-peak penalties and saved roughly 10 hours of work per month through automation, while improving compliance and visibility into production costs and inefficiencies.
