Engie Solutions (TEM) ensures comfort and indoor air quality

TEM, a subsidiary of Engie Solutions specializing in the technical maintenance of buildings in Belgium, faced the challenge of guaranteeing occupant comfort and indoor air quality in hundreds of buildings while simultaneously minimizing energy costs. Issues with temperature and CO2 levels directly impacted health and productivity, and discomfort was often linked to excessive energy consumption, especially following new Belgian regulations on CO2 concentration.

To address this, the vendor Energis implemented a solution using Enless Wireless sensors and their Energis.Cloud platform. The sensors transmitted data on temperature, humidity, and CO2, which was then visualized and monitored. This allowed TEM's technical teams to receive alerts when thresholds were nearing exceedance, enabling immediate corrective action. The results included improved responsiveness, the ability to make targeted investments, and direct energy savings from optimizing equipment schedules without new hardware, significantly reducing waste.
