The customer, a leading chemistry and energy management company, faced the challenge of further optimizing its highly efficient large-scale industrial boiler plant. Seeking to push performance even further with big data analytics, the company partnered with vendor Energiency to find new energy savings.

Energiency analyzed a year's worth of operational data and, in collaboration with the client, developed a real-time operational instruction tool. This solution generated 750 alerts every 30 seconds and automated shift reports. The result was an estimated energy savings of 0.4% on an annual energy invoice of approximately €100 million, which largely paid for the use of the Energiency platform.
