A Energage Case Study
Pratt Institute, a historic New York art and design college, was facing engagement and culture challenges as new president Frances Bronet took the helm. With faculty and staff wanting more transparency, stronger communication, and action on issues like salary, leadership needed a clear “pre-Francis view” of morale and priorities. Energage helped Pratt gather those insights through an Energage Survey, which included feedback from 2,000 faculty and staff comments.
Using the survey results, Energage gave Pratt’s leaders a data-backed picture of where employees felt supported and where change was needed, helping them focus on culture, efficiency, compensation, and communication. Pratt began acting on the findings with open HR meetings, transparent discussions about salaries, and broader sharing of engagement data across leadership. The survey also confirmed dissatisfaction with wages and helped leadership demonstrate that employee feedback would be heard and addressed.
