Online Trading Academy Improves on Successful Culture Using the Energage Survey as its Guide to the Top

Online Trading Academy (OTA) used the Energage survey to understand an unexpected drop in its Top Workplaces ranking after previously earning the designation. Despite a strong values-driven culture, OTA needed clearer insight into employee sentiment, especially around benefits, communication, and support across its global network of training centers and franchise locations.

Working with Energage and its employee engagement survey, OTA acted on the feedback by improving benefits, adding emergency loan funds and counseling, strengthening communication, and building a culture scorecard to monitor feedback. As a result, OTA regained Top Workplaces status for three consecutive years, improved benefit perceptions by 9% and then 18%, increased communication scores by 7%, scored 14% to 24% above the education benchmark in key areas, and reached a 98% positive social media rating.
