The company partnered with vendor Enel X to explore how demand-side response could deliver new revenue and operational benefits without disruption.

Enel X worked with Severn Trent to identify suitable sites and enrol 5 MW of capacity into the Capacity Market. This solution delivered over £670,000 in revenue over three years, which helped fund power resilience upgrades and offset energy costs. The results also advanced the company's sustainability targets and demonstrated the resilience of its energy systems.
