Equity Office Properties, a commercial real estate owner managing about 45 million square feet of Class A office space across the U.S., needed a better way to manage energy across more than 40 properties. Enel X provided its energy intelligence software and services, including real-time energy data analysis and utility bill management, to help Equity Office identify and act on savings opportunities. The result was more than $800,000 in annual savings identified, with about $300,000 already implemented, plus streamlined ENERGY STAR® reporting and improved control over nighttime use, startup/shutdown timing, and after-hours costs.
