PALCO Streamlines its Shipping of Repaired Cell Phones

PALCO is a privately held Women’s Business Enterprise that provides turn‑key supply chain and technology services—including logistics, repair, rework, and equipment integration—for customers in telecommunications, military, and consumer electronics. PALCO needed a streamlined, efficient way to ship repaired cell phones to end users that would reduce costs, errors, and time spent on postage and post office trips.

PALCO implemented Endicia software with an integrated ES2500U scale and Zebra label printer so workers can scan a unit’s barcode, auto‑retrieve shipping data, perform ZIP+4 verification, add weight and USPS Tracking, and print a complete postage‑paid label in seconds. The solution integrates with PALCO’s Microsoft SQL Server/.NET applications for warranty and correspondence, reduced undeliverable shipments and reshipment postage, cut trips to the post office, lowered label usage, and improved customer service with minimal staff training.
