Volkswagen turned to Endava after the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of its 2020 Geneva International Motor Show plans, leaving months of preparation at risk of going unused. To keep its latest vehicles visible to customers, Volkswagen needed a digital alternative that could recreate the exhibition-booth experience online.

Endava used the Unity3D engine to build Volkswagen’s first-ever immersive virtual motor show in just four weeks, streaming the 3D booth from the cloud to any device. The experience let visitors explore 30+ car models, change colors and parts, and interact with panels before moving to a car configurator, helping Volkswagen maintain brand visibility and achieve far greater reach than a physical expo would have allowed.
