Major Financial Services Provider needed a complete overview of its assets, but much of the supporting documentation existed only on paper, creating data silos and limiting visibility across the business. Endava worked with the customer to help digitize and structure invoice and contract data, using OCR and machine learning to move information into a digital environment with minimal disruption.

Endava developed an application to scan paper invoices, extract text, and feed handwritten notes and contract numbers into a NoSQL database, then link that data to the company’s Contract Management, CRM, and Asset Portfolio systems. The result was a 360-degree asset view and complete asset management insights, with improved searchability, business intelligence, and actionable lifecycle, risk, and finance insights. Endava also delivered a 200-hour proof of concept in just 3 weeks, supporting visibility across 10 million invoiced documents.
