Major UK Publisher, a major UK publisher with over 200 national and regional titles, wanted to reduce the rising cost of its applications estate and IT infrastructure while improving critical business applications and services. Endava supported the customer’s cloud migration effort, focusing on simplifying the enterprise application landscape and reducing dependence on legacy, hosted environments.

Endava developed a cloud migration strategy to move the development, UAT, and disaster recovery environments for 14 key enterprise applications to AWS, expanding the scope after a successful proof of concept. The result was a more flexible platform designed to reduce capital expenditure, speed up deployments, remove head office dependency, and enhance disaster recovery services, while also lowering reliance on customer data centres and supporting future acquisitions.
