English National Opera (ENO) wanted to help long Covid patients regain respiratory function through its ENO Breathe singing therapy programme, but the process was held back by legacy administration systems, manual registration, and heavy reliance on Excel. ENO turned to Endava for help scaling the service, which had only been able to support 50–100 patients at a time.
Endava built a digital process-optimisation tool and self-service portal that let patients register directly, choose session times, and automatically complete post-treatment surveys for researchers. As a result, ENO Breathe scaled by up to 60 times, reaching as many as 3,000 patients at once and generating better data for the NHS and Imperial College Healthcare researchers.
