Whitehaven Coal, a leading Australian coal producer, needed to integrate operations and data from newly acquired Queensland mine sites into its existing custom-built systems. Working with Endava, the company sought to update its CoalTrak operations and logistics platform and connect it with external data sources on a tight timeline.

Endava delivered functional enhancements to CoalTrak and integrated Queensland rail and port services data using MuleSoft, working alongside DXC Technology and Whitehaven’s internal stakeholders. As a result, Whitehaven Coal was able to launch Queensland operations on time and avoid revenue loss during the transition, while also gaining the ability to manage logistics and sales across both states more effectively.
