Creating a Centralised Headless CMS To Deliver Content Across Multiple Brands

Endava worked with an Australian health insurer, one of Australia’s largest with 1.7 million members across five brands and annual revenue of $2.5b, to address a costly and labour-intensive content management setup. The insurer was running 27 CMS environments with high licensing fees, inconsistent design across pages, and developer-dependent updates that made it difficult to scale content across brands and regions.

Endava implemented a centralised headless CMS platform using Contentful, creating a single, scalable content model that could serve multiple brands, pages and channels while supporting the insurer’s design language system. The results included 80% cost saving on new development, 75% savings on licenses, 66% faster turnaround for new pages, a 90% reduction in content models, and content delivery across websites, apps, virtual assistants and wearables with improved design consistency.
