Central Vermont Public Service, one of the largest electricity distributors in Vermont, wanted a better understanding of customer behavior on its website so it could improve online service. It asked Endai to plan, deploy, and measure marketing experiments, with a focus on increasing traffic to high-value pages such as the Outage information section.
Using Google Analytics, Endai built a custom web analytics implementation with enhanced reporting and data segmentation. Based on visitor behavior, Endai recommended a multivariate marketing experiment to increase visibility of the most frequently used links on the Outage page, and the effort led to a 169% rise in visits to high value pages and increased client satisfaction.
