MercyAscot, one of New Zealand’s largest private surgical facilities with over 650 staff across three sites, faced a fragmented, paper-heavy onboarding process that struggled to serve diverse roles and shift workers and left People & Capability without visibility or early engagement with new hires. Using Enboarder, MercyAscot automated onboarding (and is extending the platform to offboarding and Mercy Radiology), integrated it with SnapHire, and gained task tracking and engagement analytics. The People & Capability team report managers save up to two hours per hire (a reduction of at least 50%), large drops in email volumes, and strong participation—94% employee and 88% manager engagement (Jan–Mar 2019)—while improving accountability and consistency across the organisation.
