Safety Excellence and Proactive Prevention Through Better Data

Phoenix Services, a global provider of sustainable solutions to the steel industry operating 42 facilities across nine countries, outgrew its spreadsheet-based Safety Management System during a period of rapid growth. Between 50 and 100 incident reports were coming in monthly from roughly 38–40 sites in 12–15 languages, making consolidation, trend analysis and action tracking cumbersome and inefficient.

The company implemented Enablon using a QuickStart approach and rolled out the Enablon Go mobile app, with first sites live within three months. Centralized, mobile reporting improved data quality and speed of investigations, enabled KPI tracking and real-time prevention, and drove measurable safety gains: TRIR fell from 1.09 to 0.8 and LTFR was cut by 50%.
