A ENA Case Study
Mountain View School District, in rural northern Idaho, faced major connectivity challenges because the geography made it difficult for many families to get internet access. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced remote learning, the district needed a way to keep students connected to online instruction and resources. ENA supported the district with connectivity solutions, including external access points to extend campus internet access.
ENA helped Mountain View School District deploy external access points around campus, giving students nearby Wi-Fi access from parking lots and other areas. The district also provided devices, bus-delivered food and paper learning packets, and teacher home visits to support students without reliable connectivity. As a result, the district was able to keep students engaged during remote learning and develop new best practices, with the hot spots seeing strong use soon after launch.
