How Vermont’s Lyndon Institute Leveraged ENA’s Broadband, Wi-Fi/LAN, and Voice Services to Build a Seamless and Robust Infrastructure

Lyndon Institute, a Vermont day and boarding school for grades 9–12, was struggling with unreliable legacy technology that caused wireless outages, inconsistent user experiences, and disruptions to teaching and learning. To address these challenges, the school turned to ENA for help modernizing its infrastructure, including broadband, Wi‑Fi/LAN, voice, content filtering, and firewall services.

ENA implemented a converged Infrastructure as a Service solution that included ENA Air managed Wi‑Fi, ENA SmartVoice VoIP, ENA WebSafe content filtering, and ENA NetShield firewall, while also doubling Lyndon Institute’s bandwidth. The result was a seamless transition with minimal training, more reliable campus-wide wireless access, easier phone system management, and freed-up IT staff time to focus on instruction and larger technology projects—helping create a more robust, scalable learning environment.
