How Tennessee’s Alcoa City Schools Uses Technology to Transcend the Classroom Walls

Alcoa City Schools worked with ENA to bring more engaging learning experiences to students beyond the classroom. The district wanted a secure, easy-to-use way to offer virtual field trips and career exploration opportunities that would be financially and logistically difficult to arrange in person, and they chose ENA’s Video Collaboration Powered by Zoom (VCPZ).

ENA implemented VCPZ across Alcoa City Schools, giving teachers a simple platform to schedule live virtual visits with experts, museums, zoos, farms, and other destinations. The solution helped students stay highly engaged, improved retention through interactive experiences and follow-up writing activities, and also supported district CTE meetings; staff reported no major connectivity issues and praised ENA for its foolproof service and low learning curve.
