Four Innovative Ways Austin Peay State University Is Leveraging Zoom to Foster Community

Austin Peay State University (APSU) in Tennessee needed to keep its students, faculty, and broader campus community connected after the COVID-19 pandemic forced a sudden move away from on-campus activities. Working with ENA and using Zoom video conferencing, APSU looked for ways to support remote learning while also preserving scholarship, wellness, family support, and community engagement.

With ENA’s help and Zoom as the core platform, APSU launched virtual conferences, wellness classes, parenting and children’s programs, town halls, and online meetings for university governance and hiring. The initiative expanded access to global scholarship, increased community participation, and drew hundreds of attendees to some events, showing that ENA’s solution helped APSU maintain connection and even create new opportunities during a difficult period.
