World Vision, a global humanitarian nonprofit, needed to rapidly organize, assemble and stage a mobile relief site with POS, warehousing and finance systems to respond to Hurricane Harvey. Having previously implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX with enVista, World Vision engaged enVista Retail POS System to deliver an AX-powered, mobile ERP/POS solution capable of standing up a pop‑up warehouse and mPOS quickly (within the required 7–14 day window).

enVista Retail POS System configured, tested and validated the new mPOS, POS and warehouse setups, executed a rapid go‑live with initial production support, and transitioned ongoing support to World Vision’s consultants. As a result, World Vision engaged 60 church and community partners, delivered more than 70 truckloads of supplies in the initial weeks, and provided emergency relief, building materials and other supplies to about 326,000 people between September 2017 and February 2019.
