A EMS Software Case Study
Texas A&M University’s Department of Recreational Sports manages 497,774 square feet of bookable space, 36 internal sports clubs and programs that serve about 1.2 million participant visits a year. Coordinating courts, multipurpose rooms, aquatics with lanes and depth requirements, off‑site trips and outside users created high risk of double‑booking, billing complexity and heavy administrative work.
By standardizing all bookings in the EMS platform, the department gained granular control (by pool lane, field quadrant or “phantom rooms” for off‑site trips), automated invoicing with tiered rates, and consolidated reporting. The result: fewer scheduling errors, faster and more accurate reservations and billing, lower administrative costs and increased facility utilization and revenue.
