EMQ and E-Surfing IoT jointly build the world's largest narrowband IoT platform

CTWing, China Telecom’s IoT open platform, needed to support cross-industry device access across multiple protocols, massive NB-IoT connectivity, and multi-industry, multi-tenant management at global scale. To meet these demands, CTWing worked with EMQ Technologies and its EMQ-based multi-protocol access gateway and platform capabilities.

EMQ Technologies implemented a scalable, customizable multi-protocol access gateway, a cross-data-center distributed cluster architecture, and a rule engine for data filtering, bridging, and persistence. This helped CTWing become the world’s largest group-level NB-IoT device access platform, with more than ten million connected devices and support for tens of millions of device connections and up to one million TPS message throughput, while advancing China Telecom’s cloud-network and IoT integration.
