A Empxtrack Case Study
IFFCO Tokio General Insurance, one of India’s largest insurers, faced a fragmented and time-consuming performance management process that hindered consistent goal-setting, discouraged employee participation (especially among computer-native staff), and produced cumbersome, unreliable reporting. The company needed a scalable, transparent system to standardize goals, streamline appraisal workflows, and deliver actionable management insights.
Empxtrack conducted a process and content overhaul, introducing cascaded, SMART goal templates, automated email workflows and reminders, real-time goal tracking, and auto-initiated appraisals. Within deployment IFFCO Tokio completed nationwide goal-setting in 15 days; average employee/manager time per cycle fell from over two days to about three hours; appraisal scores rose from 4.3 to 4.7 for long-term users; reporting time dropped from two weeks to one day with improved accuracy; and promotions, compensation decisions, and leader identification became more objective.
