A US-based hedge fund with about 200 employees, primarily in research and analysis, needed a more flexible and intuitive online 360° appraisal system. Leadership wanted a shift from personality-based ratings to behavioral competency–based assessments for individual contributors, display of prior-year average ratings to appraisers, full anonymity for raters, and complex, customizable reports to increase participation and help employees interpret feedback without one-on-one guidance.
Empxtrack implemented a competency-based 360° feedback module that collected ratings from subordinates, peers and seniors while preserving rater anonymity and displaying prior-year averages. Configurable workflows set minimum/maximum reviewer counts, dashboards enabled real-time monitoring and automated reminders, and custom reports supported focused manager-employee discussions and self-development plans. The result was higher participation, easier administration for HR, greater flexibility in gathering feedback, and more actionable development insights.
