KPIT, a global IT services company headquartered in Pune, needed to replace a clunky employee rewards-and-recognition program that relied on physical gifts, causing delivery issues, poor customer support, low employee satisfaction, and weak redemption rates. The company also wanted a more robust platform to support its employee experience programs, including ESAT surveys and a stronger culture of celebrating employee contributions. Empuls was the vendor selected to help modernize this employee R&R process.
Empuls implemented a more seamless digital rewards and recognition experience with e-vouchers, a large redemption catalog, multi-currency support for global teams, social recognition through townhall groups, and nudges that encouraged peer appreciation. KPIT also moved its annual ESAT survey onto Empuls. The results included a much higher rewards budget increasing from 15–20 lakhs per quarter to nearly 45 lakhs per quarter, a 90% rewards redemption percentage, and a growing culture of peer-to-peer recognition across KPIT’s global offices.
