Greystone Programs, a private nonprofit serving people with autism and other developmental disabilities in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, needed to reduce turnover in its high-volume entry-level Direct Support Professional roles. EmployTest helped address the challenge by providing a customized pre-employment testing solution tailored to the organization’s job requirements and interview process.
EmployTest worked with Greystone Programs to build a short, role-specific assessment that screened for traits like kindness, compassion, patience, and reliability, and generated follow-up interview questions based on candidate responses. As a result, Greystone improved the quality of candidates advancing to interviews and increased confidence in hiring decisions, helping support its annual hiring of 150 to 200 employees more effectively.
