The Link Youth Health Service Inc. is a not-for-profit that provides free, confidential health and wellbeing services for young people. With finance and HR manager Eliza Lee new to HR, the organisation faced the challenge of self-teaching HR, centralising employee records, streamlining onboarding and integrating payroll while maintaining compliance (including Working With Children checks). The Link has used Employment Hero since 2017 as their cloud-based HRIS to address these needs.

Employment Hero delivered a cloud HR and payroll platform (integrated with Xero) that enabled paperless onboarding, employee self-entry of bank/TFN/super and certifications, automated expiry notifications, and tracking of Working With Children checks, plus webinars to support remote work. The result was a single, accessible HR system that removed manual filing and data entry, smoothed the COVID-19 WFH transition, and created clear administrative efficiencies so The Link can focus more time on delivering youth services.
