Vestsjællandscentret, a shopping mall in Denmark owned by Danske Shoppingcentre and managed by DEAS, wanted to strengthen its communication and marketing platform, grow its digital presence, launch a loyalty program, and drive more footfall for the mall and its tenants. The mall chose Emplate to help create an owned mobile-first marketing channel that could support both central mall marketing and local tenant campaigns.
Emplate delivered a mall app and website-based marketing platform that was launched in just 41 days, with tenant onboarding, automated email flows, campaign categories, and loyalty features built in. The results were strong: after 100 days the app had 3,500 monthly active users, and after five months it reached 6,000 active users, generated over 400,000 content views in the app and 335,000 on the website, and drove 800 redemptions plus 500 influenced mall visits. Tenant adoption was high as well, with 98% of stores creating local content and 1,500 campaigns launched in five months.
