Waves Shopping, owned by DADES and operated by Newsec, wanted to shift away from underperforming print marketing and build a stronger digital presence that would increase footfall, grow online awareness, and improve customer retention without adding extra workload for mall management. To support this, the mall turned to Emplate and its Consumer App, Mall Web, Shop App, and Management System.
Emplate implemented an omnichannel setup with personalized campaigns, a loyalty program based on physical visits, SEO content, tenant campaign tools, and reporting for staff and shops. Over 12 months, Waves Shopping grew monthly campaign views from 29,495 to 217,840, a 738% increase, and increased app-driven physical mall visits from 10,398 to 19,473 per month, equal to a 187% rise in impact. The case study says Waves gained 187,872 physical mall visits overall, and Emplate also helped tenants upload more than 550 campaigns per month.
