Storcenter Nord, a shopping center owned by Salling Group, launched the Emplate Consumer App in 2017 with Emplate, but got off to a rough start. The mall initially struggled to drive downloads and had to rethink its digital marketing approach and how to engage both users and tenants.

Emplate and Storcenter Nord shifted the focus from pure acquisition to user activation through a targeted loyalty program, reactivation campaigns, and coordinated marketing across channels. This strategy led to steady growth over 24 months, around 3,000 to 4,000 monthly active users, 86,069 visits tracked back to app usage, and 8,923 bonus prize redemptions in the last 12 months.
