How a shopping mall got online results in 30 days

Kolding Storcenter, the largest mall in southern Jutland with 120 shops and millions of annual visits, wanted to launch an owned mobile marketing channel that would increase footfall, loyalty, and store sales while keeping extra workload for management low. To do that, the mall worked with Emplate and prepared to launch Emplate Consumer, Emplate Shop, and Emplate Management, with a strong focus on getting tenants actively involved.

Emplate helped Kolding Storcenter onboard tenants, run internal competitions, and build a launch campaign that tied the new app to Chinese New Year promotions and in-mall/social media marketing. In just 30 days, the mall generated 5,396 downloads, 5,141 active users, 220,000+ campaign views, 4,400 influenced mall visits, 201 coupon redemptions, and 75 loyalty prize redemptions; store staff also created 650 campaigns, and tenant-driven activity produced 758 downloads through the internal competition.
