Carey & Hanna Tax & Wealth Planners, a Ventura/Oxnard-based CPA firm founded in 1985, sought to move from tax preparation to holistic financial planning as licensing rules changed and Davin Carey expanded the practice. To support complex needs—investment real estate and depreciation, mortgages, aggregated outside accounts, and a client-facing portal—the firm selected eMoney as its financial planning software (eMoney user since 2011) to collect, visualize, and model complete client financial pictures.

Using eMoney’s planning tools, account aggregation, client portal, Monte Carlo simulations and lead-capture features (plus integration with Avantax), Carey & Hanna ran 1,000 real-time scenarios during market volatility to confidently recommend clients stay the course, boosted client engagement via portal statements and lead conversion, and grew AUM from about $8M to just shy of a quarter–billion (roughly a 3,000% increase). eMoney directly enabled deeper planning relationships, better client interactions, and measurable business growth.
