David Vaughan Investments (DVI), a 26-person wealth management firm serving over 800 clients and managing $2.5 billion, needed to modernize an outdated, slow client portal and make its website mobile-friendly and more interactive. After evaluating several solutions, DVI selected eMoney’s financial planning software and client portal to provide a more personalized, easy-to-use online experience with account aggregation and deeper planning tools.
Using eMoney’s planning platform and client portal, DVI rolled out a personalized onboarding campaign (including a client appreciation event) and used the Vault to upload quarterly reports to drive adoption. The result: active portal users grew from about 100 to roughly 280 of 800 clients and DVI reported a 130% increase in clients who regularly access their portals, plus improved real-time account aggregation and advisor visibility that enable more holistic advice and asset-consolidation opportunities.
