Enerhub, a Bologna‑based Charge Point Operator (CPO) and e‑Mobility Service Provider (EMSP), needed secure, reliable communications and simple remote commissioning to keep EV chargers online and drivers moving. They partnered with EMnify, using EMnify’s multi‑network IoT SIMs, EMnify Portal, Cloud Connect (IPsec/VPN) and OpenVPN to provide connectivity, management and secure remote access.

EMnify’s solution established encrypted IPsec tunnels, reliable multi‑network cellular links (important for underground parking), and self‑service SIM activation and management in minutes, plus remote commissioning and diagnostics via OpenVPN. The outcome for Enerhub was continuous charging availability, real‑time visibility and control over SIMs and data usage, and significantly reduced operational costs and on‑site service visits thanks to EMnify’s secure, centralized platform.
