How Air - Connected Mobility Uses Emnify to Positively Impact Mobility With Connected Cars

Air - Connected Mobility, a Vigevano-based telematics and fleet management provider, needed to manage real-time vehicle data to improve traffic flow, control pollution, and meet stricter urban safety and emissions rules. To scale and secure its distributed deployments, Air turned to EMnify and its IoT SuperNetwork—using EMnify IoT SIMs/eSIMs, the EMnify portal, SMS Console, and IMEI lock—to connect and manage its telematics fleet.

EMnify implemented a global, cloud-native connectivity stack that linked 25,000+ active devices (with access to 540+ networks via eSIM) to Air’s platforms, enabling real-time monitoring of traffic, pollution, and road conditions. The EMnify solution delivered faster OTA troubleshooting through SMS, IMEI-based security, and single-pane connectivity management, reducing device downtime, avoiding production delays, and improving operational efficiency while supporting Air’s measurable expansion and urban-impact reductions.
