Enerhub, an Italian Charge Point Operator and e-Mobility Service Provider, needed to ensure secure and reliable communications for its network of EV charging stations, particularly those in challenging locations like underground parking. Their goal was to deliver a continuous charging service with maximum operational time while eliminating external security risks for their customers. They turned to the vendor EMnify for a cellular IoT connectivity solution.

EMnify provided its multi-network IoT SIMs to ensure reliable connectivity and its Cloud Connect (IPsec/VPN) service to securely encrypt all communications between the charge points and Enerhub's management backend.
