The University of South Carolina Athletics Department, led by CMO Eric Nichols, needed to market 21 sports to a wide range of fans—delivering both universal announcements and highly personalized content for different audience segments. Emma, Inc. implemented single-send Dynamic Content that showed different blocks to past vs. current season-ticket holders, plus Lightbox Forms for lead generation and automated lists per sport. The results: sustained high engagement with a 46% average open rate and 25% click rate across a list of 157,000, and more than 4,600 new subscribers gained via the Lightbox Form—demonstrating measurable uplift in personalization, list growth and conversions.
