Texas A&M Foundation, working alongside The Association of Former Students, needed to modernize and centralize alumni outreach to better steward donors, coordinate communications across independent campus units, and counteract the perception of being overly solicitation-driven. To do that they adopted Emma, Inc.’s email marketing platform (tiered/sub-account University Edition) to give schools and colleges access to a shared contact database and easy-to-use campaign tools.

Emma, Inc. implemented a tiered Emma account with drag‑and‑drop email design, robust reporting, and fine-grained segmentation, enabling personalized stewardship workflows and faster staff training. Using Emma, they ran targeted campaigns—including a “Pass It Back Day” that generated 1,800 gifts and $260,710 in 24 hours versus a 1,000-gift/$100,000 goal—while improving engagement tracking and campus-wide coordination.
