Oxford American, a nonprofit quarterly literary magazine, needed to strengthen its online presence and keep readers engaged between print issues while maintaining brand consistency. To do this, the magazine worked with Emma, Inc., using Emma’s design services to create a custom email template and deploying an Emma Lightbox Form to grow newsletter signups.

Emma, Inc. delivered a magazine-like email template and a Lightbox Form plus an automated welcome email, which together drove measurable results: the Lightbox added over 800 new contacts and the welcome automation posts a 54.7% open rate and 23.5% click rate, while also boosting social and print‑subscription engagement.
